Upon arrival, relish your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality. A representative will greet you at the airport and guide you to the arranged transportation for your initial destination. Located approximately 55 miles from Colombo, along the Colombo-Kandy road, is the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Established in 1975, this sanctuary provides a home for abandoned and wounded elephants. The current count exceeds 65 elephants, including babies from various regions and over 25 born through a successful breeding program. Don't miss the optimal visiting times: feeding sessions from 09:15-09:45 and 14:15-14:45, and bathing sessions from 10:00-11:00 and 15:00-16:00, where all the elephants gather by the nearby river. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Dambulla.
Day 2: Dambulla – Sigiriya Rock Fortress – Dambulla
After breakfast, venture to Sigiriya Rock, where you'll embark on an enjoyable elephant ride through the jungle. Home to the 5th-century "Fortress in the Sky," Sigiriya Rock is a breathtaking wonder known as Lion Rock due to a colossal lion statue that once guarded its entrance. Encircled by triple moats, the rock soars nearly 500ft, featuring remnants of a grand palace, gardens, and a swimming pool at its summit. The ancient Sinhala secular paintings are noteworthy, life-sized frescoes depicting damsels in all their original vibrancy and delicacy. Conclude your day with an overnight stay at the hotel in Dambulla.
Day 3: Dambulla – Kandy
After breakfast, head to Kandy to explore attractions like Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts & Crafts Centre, Gem Museum, and the revered Temple of Tooth Relic. Kandy, the former hill capital, reflects Buddhism's enduring influence in Sri Lanka. Visit shrines and monasteries preserving Buddhist traditions. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a national treasure, safeguarding the Buddha's Tooth since the 4th Century A.D.
In the evening, enjoy a vibrant cultural show with drumbeats and acrobatics. Your overnight stay in Kandy promises a comfortable conclusion to your day.

The expansive 147-acre garden, established in 1374, showcases over 5,000 tree and plant species, including rare varieties. Highlights include the Spice Garden, Orchid House, and five Palm Avenues, featuring unique specimens like the Double Coconuts.
Known as the 'Little England' of Sri Lanka, Nuwara Eliya offers picturesque landscapes of mountains, valleys, and tea plantations. With its British influence seen in cottages and Queen Ann-style mansions, the town has a climate resembling an English spring day. Enjoy a stroll or bird watching in Victoria Park.
