Day 1: Arrive Bucharest
Arrive at Bucharest International Airport and enjoy a smooth transfer to your hotel, where you'll spend the night. This marks the beginning of your exploration of Bucharest—a city that seamlessly blends history and modernity. Rest up for the adventures that await, as you prepare to delve into the rich tapestry of this vibrant capital. Overnight stay at Sibiu
Day 2: Bucharest - Sibiu (300km – aprox. 5h)
Morning pickup from the hotel and head to Sibiu. On the way, explore Curtea de Arges, known for its Byzantine-style Cathedral from 1526. Stop at Cozia Monastery in Oltului Valley, founded in 1388. In the afternoon, arrive in Sibiu, the European Capital of Culture in 2007. Discover the medieval city with its Large and Small Squares, the Liars’ Bridge, the Evangelical Church, and the Clock Tower. Overnight at a Sibiu hotel.
Day 3: Sibiu - Sighisoara – Brasov (220 km – aprox. 3h)
Morning departure to Sighisoara, a UNESCO-listed medieval citadel. Visit the Clock Tower museum, Church on the Hill, and Vlad the Impaler's birthplace. Explore the narrow citadel streets. In the afternoon, return to Bucharest with a stop in Brasov for its historic centre, Black Church, Sfatului Square, and St. Nicholas Church with the first Romanian school. Overnight in Brasov.
Day 4: Brasov – Bran – Sinaia – Bucharest (200 km aprox. 3 hrs.)
Explore the castles of Prahova Valley on a full-day excursion. Begin with Bran Castle, a 14th-century fortress renowned worldwide as Dracula’s Castle. Journey through its intriguing history shaped by American movie directors. Next, visit Peles Castle, the former summer residence of Romania's royal family. Constructed in the 19th century by the first King of Romania, Carol the 1st, it now houses an impressive collection of weapons and art objects. In the afternoon, return to Bucharest for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Depart Bucharest
Check out from your hotel and enjoy a seamless transfer to the airport for your flight back home. Take with you unforgettable memories from your stay. Safe travels!
